Staying Virtual

Sat, 2022-02-12 15:17 -- Admin

The TCPC Executive Committee decided, at the February 2022 General Meeting, that we will continue meeting virtually until at least September 2022.  The decision was based upon very low attendance at our hybrid General Meetings held from September through November 2021.  We recognize that it takes considerable effort for our volunteers to schedule space and physically set up equipment.  That effort is hard to justify when most members are joining our meetings remotely.

We welcome member feedback.  Please feel free to use the Contact page.

Welcome to the Twin Cities PC Users' Group

Welcome to the Twin Cities Personal Computer Users’ Group website.  Here you’ll find information about our organization including our activities and leadership.

TCPC exists to help people effectively use personal computers.  While our members primarily use Microsoft’s Windows operating system, many also use some flavor of Linux and a few even use Apple products.

All of our meetings are open to the public and free of charge.  We ask that regular attenders join the organization as our modest membership fee finances our operations.

Our monthly General Meeting is usually a presentation on a current topic or a topic suggested by TCPC members.  When time permits, as it usually does, we have “Random Access,” a period when we solicit questions from the audience on topics of their choosing.

While our meetings are open to the public, we usually use private facilities that are graciously made available for our use.  Access may be restricted if attendees arrive after our published starting time.  If you arrive late and have difficulty entering the building you may text a message to our text-only message number, (612) 930‑2855.  We’ll try to get someone to let you in as soon as practical.

If you've got any comments or questions, you should feel free to contact our webmaster.
